Hi! The annual Walk for PKD is a 5k walk on September 20th that I'm going to do in Orlando. Does anyone want to be healthy and walk with me? Guess what that date is?? My due date. That's right... I'm three months pregnant!
We didn't want to say anything sooner because we wanted to make it past the 12 week milestone. We had some scares earlier and had to go the emergency room at one point but everything is fine now :)
No problems but I have to see a high-risk perinatal specialist in August. My blood pressure has been fine so far.
Last week we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time and we also got a great ultrasound. It was amazing - we got to see the baby "yawning" and skirming/wiggling around. All I can say is WOW!
I will keep you posted on how things go.
